The Oswestry Charity Market is Back!
Local people can attend this free event and find out what local activities and community groups operate locally. There will also be the opportunity to discuss volunteering and browse the varied number of roles there are on offer. We will be joined on the day by Oswestry Men in Sheds, The Foodbank, The MS Society, Shropshire Hearing and Sight Loss Group and many more! During the event the charities and community groups will be offering advice and guidance about their services and there will also be goods on sale to help them fundraise.
Qube's BBO Volunteering Officer, Kim Thompson-Lawrence who has organised the Charity Market said: "We're expecting a busy day, the event is always well attended. People are keen to come along and give their support and there's always the chance of a bargain to be had! Local charities really benefit from the exposure and we're grateful to Oswestry Town Council for helping us stage the event each year."
The Oswestry Charity Market runs twice a year with the second marking booked for Friday 7th September.
