Oswestry Town Council, Car Park Charges Consultation 5th November – 25th November

The Town Council are undertaking a public consultation on potential changes to the way it charges people to park on its car parks (Horsemarket, Smithfield Street & Central Car Park) in the Town.

Residents, visitors, business owners and workers are invited to give their views on the following proposals:

  • Free parking after 6pm and before 8am
  • To remove the one-hour tariff and replace it with an 80p charge for the first two hours in all car parks

Questionnaires are available from the Car Parks, the Guildhall, the Library and the Visitor Information and Exhibition Centre. These can be completed in situ or taken away to be completed and returned.

The survey can also be completed electronically at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/YKKZ567

The survey is easy to complete and should only take a minute or two to complete.

The results will be presented to the Finance and General Purposes Committee on the 3rd of December.
