Oswestry Market Reopening 14th April

Oswestry markets have been around for over 800 years and seen many challenges but non more difficult than the Covid pandemic. It has been a frustrating and worrying time for every indoor and outdoor trader alike however everyone is looking forward to the scheduled reopening of the markets from the 14th April and can’t wait to see all their customers once again.

As long as there are no changes to the Prime Ministers roadmap all our traders will once again be able to open and are very much looking forward to trading and meeting new and old friends. The only exception will be the upstairs café as indoor seating is still not permitted until the 17th May. However, outside seating is permitted and we have recently invested into new seating and tables where customers can sit and enjoy the ambiance of the market square whilst having a coffee or a bite to eat. We can assure you that Covid restrictions will still be in place to ensure public safety, please use the hand sanitiser provided as you enter the building and maintain a polite distance. We all look forward to seeing you all soon and if you haven't been to Oswestry market before come and pay a visit, you won't be disappointed, we value your support.
