Oswestry Christmas Music Live Friday 3rd December 6pm until 10pm
Christmas Music Live has grown into one of the largest Christmas celebrations in Shropshire and includes an assortment of entertainment, including enormous fairground rides positioned throughout the town centre which creates quite a spectacle. 1000's of people enjoy the night with the streets packed with visitors and there is something for everyone be it young or old.
The award winning Porth-y-Waen Silver Band will be preforming throughout the night in Church Street. We have a huge music stage sponsored by Full Fibre on the Bailey Head to support local talent and this year's headline act are the Bartells who will be on stage from 7.00pm – 9.30pm and will be supported by Kizzy-Mae Rowbotham from 6.00pm - 7.00pm. Full Fibre will also be having a stand on the Bailey Head with some exciting giveaways!
Street entertainers including stilt walkers and fire breathing acts will be performing around the town throughout the evening.
As well as being open for late night bargains, the Indoor Market is the home of Santa's Grotto where children can meet Santa between 5.00pm and 8.30pm in aid of the Mayor’s charities, those being Oswestry Talking Newspaper for the blind and Motor neurone disease research. A Christmas Market selling street food and Christmas gifts will set up along Bailey Street which is always incredibly popular. To complete the celebrations there is a firework display at Cae Glas Park starting around 9.30pm.
Oswestry Music Live is truly a spectacular night which would rival any larger town and helps make Oswestry a special place to live and visit.
