Take a guided town tour with one of our knowledgeable guides. Tours run from Easter to September every Saturday at 11am from Oswestry Tourist Information Centre, Castle View.

These tours are FREE, but we do ask for donations to help continue our work promoting Oswestry and the Borderlands.
FREE SUMMER EVENTS IN OSWESTRY TOWN CENTRE 2023
Oswestry Town Council, Oswestry BID and Visit Oswestry are putting on some great free events in the town centre this Summer. With the cost of living hitting everyone’s pockets, these family events can be enjoyed at little or no cost and are sure to be popular with Oswestry residents and visitors alike.
The Beach Comes to Oswestry!
The Beach, Festival Square - 27th to 29th May, 2023.
The Beach (yes, the beach!) returns to Oswestry at Festival Square during May Spring Bank Holiday weekend. Festival Square is located in the heart of Oswestry and is turned into a huge sandpit – perfect for the little ones and the young at heart to enjoy some messy fun without the clear up!
Grab a deckchair and your bucket and spade and enjoy some beach fun away from the sea!
OSWESTRY FOOD & DRINK FESTIVAL
Oswestry Food and Drink Festival takes to the streets of Oswestry for two days on the 8th and 9th of July 2023. It’s free, fun and tasty.
On Saturday the usual market stalls rub shoulders with food and drink traders from all over Shropshire and North Wales. Get your taste buds ready to try all sorts of new flavours. Watch out for the street entertainers and take a few minutes to enjoy them. Street food of all kinds is just waiting to be enjoyed and it isn’t a good weekend for calorie counting!
CAE GLAS PARK SUMMER EVENTS
Grab your picnic blanket and head down to Cae Glas Park this summer for a range of free family events including music, sport and entertainment. You'll find crazy golf, tennis courts, a children's playground, bowling and our beautiful flowers to enjoy too.
