Subject to annual review, Oswestry Town Council will provide funding for groups / organisations to apply for each year. The purpose of the application must comply with prevailing local government legislation or provide direct benefit to organisations based in and/or delivering a service to the Oswestry Community.
All applications will be considered by the Finance & General Purposes Committee on its merit and applicants will be invited to a pre-meeting to allow elected Members to ask questions on points requiring clarification. Please note without attendance, the application will not be considered. The Council may apply any additional conditions it deems necessary as part of the grant award.
The scheme is split into 3 streams and applications are welcomed during the following periods:
Round One Summer (June - August)
New Ideas Fund Autumn (September - November)
Round Two Winter (December - February)
