Farewell Andrew

Representatives of the Council today attended the memorial service to Andrew Tullo.   Andrew worked with the Council, and numerous local organisations and groups, on many projects since moving to Oswestry following retirement from the world of medicine.

One of the largest gatherings in many years at St Oswald's Parish Church witnessed a wonderful service of celebration and commemoration of a life so fully lived that touched so many people.

Andrew was a gentleman in every sense of the word and a real community champion

Andrew became a very good friend of the Town Council. He was greatly respected and always brought great common sense and passion to every subject that he presented to us.

Without doubt Oswestry has lost a true and valued friend and a good and kindly man. We have been blessed to share his company, and part of his life, but importantly he has left a mark on the town of Oswestry that will be long remembered.

Oswestry has lost a very special person. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and many friends at this most sad time.
