The Oswestry Youth Music Festival takes place every year around St David’s Day. As the Festival has been growing each year, we are now introducing an extra day so that we can fit all the classes in.


Great news! The Council is working with Lindstrand, Cloud 9 Balloons and Nightingale House to hold the annual Balloon Festival event in Oswestry on the August Bank Holiday weekend of 2018.


This has been a very special year for me as firstly I was re-elected to both Shropshire Council and the Town Council at the May elections and then a few days later I was installed as Mayor of Oswestry.

Bonfire and Fireworks Community Funding

The Town Council and the Borderland Rotary Club of Oswestry have established a grant fund from the proceeds of the Oswestry Bonfire and Fireworks evening.
