Thank you to everyone that attended the services at the Memorial Gates or in the Parish Church yesterday and who lined the route of the procession.

Remembrance Day

Sunday will be the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day. This photograph from the archives shows one of the first Remembrance Day ceremonies held at Oswestry’s memorial gates, c. 1926.

Oswestry Town Council, Car Park Charges Consultation 5th November – 25th November

The Town Council are undertaking a public consultation on potential changes to the way it charges people to park on its car parks (Horsemarket, Smithfield Street & Central Car Park) in the Town.

Bonfire and Fireworks

A huge thank you to everyone that supported the annual Bonfire and Fireworks event funded by the Town Council on Saturday evening. Despite the weather forecast and heavy rain during the afternoon a large crowd enjoyed the display.
