HALL-ROBINSON FUND

The fund was established under the will of Mrs. Elizabeth Robinson of Oswestry, proved 28 Mar. 1940, who left her residuary estate for this purpose, her sister Margaret Hall (d.1951) having a life interest.  The income of the Fund was to be distributed in gifts of food or fuel to deserving poor in the winter months.  Under a Scheme of 21 Dec. 1979 (H1/8) the Hall-Robinson Fund became part of the Relief in Need section of the reorganised Oswestry Town Charities.  Records after that date are maintained with those of the Town Council.
